As a painter, I find immense inspiration in the merging of land and sea, and my goal is to portray the unique character, drama, and tranquillity that coastal environments offer. I take pride in trying to capture the essence and beauty of the

sea through my work, transporting viewers to the vast expanse of the ocean, and the rugged charm of coastal landscapes.

Through my brushstrokes and choice of colours, I strive to convey the ever-changing moods of the sea: from calm, serene waters reflecting the vibrant hues of sunset, to wild, waves crashing against rocky shores. Each painting tells a story, capturing a fleeting moment in time and inviting viewers to immerse themselves in the maritime world. The interplay of light and shadow is crucial in my work, bringing depth and life to the scenes I depict, I aim to create a dynamic interplay between nature and atmosphere.

I am fascinated by the intricate details of coastal life. From the complex rigging of heritage vessels and the wry wisdom in the eyes of the crew, to the weathered texture of old boats on a beach, I try to describe the unique characters that define the nautical community. By doing so, I hope to create a connection to our rich, seafaring history.
